GENERAL RULES
COURSE CARE
- Players should replace all divots, whether on the fairway or in the rough.
- Pitch marks on greens must be repaired
- Rake bunkers carefully and correctly to push sand back towards the middle of the bunker.
- Rakes are to be replaced in the bottom of the bunkers.
PRACTICE
- Practice of any sort is not allowed on the course except on the designated practice area and the putting green.
COURSE ETIQUETTE
- Players should not disturb other players by moving, talking, or making unnecessary noise.
- Do not hit until you are certain that the group ahead is out of range. If in doubt, err on the side of caution.
- Priority on the course is determined by a group’s pace of play, and the term “group” includes a single player.
- Players must not share a bag and clubs.
- Golf trolleys and carry bags should not be taken onto the tee box or near to the edge of the green.
- ​Golfers are responsible for protecting themselves and the other users of the course. If you hit a wayward shot towards other golfers, or onto another hole, shout ‘FORE’ as a warning.
COURSE DRESS & CLUBHOUSE
- The club have a published dress code which members should adhere to at all times, both on and off the course. Mobile phones can be used in the car park, patio, changing rooms, and foyers of the clubhouse but should only be used on the course in an emergency.
TEES
Yellow markers: Non-competitions, golf societies, and other visitors.
White markers: Official competitions, club matches and members only
Red markers: Ladies & Men’s tee. Juniors with a handicap of 29 or over must play from the red tees.
PUTTING GREEN
- If a ball should lie on the practice putting green when playing the course, it is on the wrong green and should be lifted under rule 13.1f.
TEE MATS
- Where mats are in use, players must stand on and play from them.
BAG TAGS
- Would all members please attach their club membership tags to their bags.
